1. Sanrio Puroland
Who doesn’t know the famous feline Hello Kitty? Also, who wants to see the other feline Sanrio characters such as Jewelpet, My Melody, Kiki and Lala? They can be visited in this super cute indoor theme park Puroland which screams cuteness overload. Puroland has a couple of attractions and events such as restaurants, musicals, shows, parades, mascots and rides to behold. And mind you, even their food in the restaurant is kawaii Sanrio themed. The place is an eye candy to both kids and adults.

Tokyo Toy Museum is more of an interactive indoor place where various games and playthings from all over the world and Japan are on display and can be enjoyed for all ages. The place used to be an elementary school with three levels and now housed with toys and exhibitions everyone can enjoy so instead of a museum when it is hands-off, this is the complete opposite. Moreover, there are events, displays and even fun workshops for you and your kids to join in where you can make your own toys. For mommies who plan to bring their toddlers or babies, there’s a changing room and breastfeeding section.

Kid-O-Kid is a play center that is just perfect for kids to explore, play a wide range of games, dress-up with pretty clothes, read books, with a huge ball pool, play in castles and more, literally a fairytale land for kids. Parents and guardians can also join in to accompany their children to spend quality time together. And due to the current pandemic situation, they always disinfect and sanitize things thoroughly. Guests are advised to disinfect as well as they enter and leave the place. There are a couple of Bornelund play centers all over Tokyo so no need to go far. Just check Google Maps for the nearest branch in your location. The place is for ages 6 months to 12 years old.

4. Studio Ghibli Museum
For parents and children who love animation together, Studio Ghibli Museum is a dream come true to visit. Step into Ghibli’s surreal childlike museum and relive your favorite Ghibli character’s life. The style and overall decorations in this museum would feel like entering to it’s charming world with its motto, “Let’s lose our way together”, a feeling that is exactly what the Ghibli animation is, as being emulated by the museum. The place features a park, cafe, reading room, gift shop, events and special exhibitions. Truly, it is a one-of-a-kind-visit for both non-Ghibli and Ghibli animation fans.
